Yussef’s been in the restaurant business since he was 15 years old, with his first job being a pizza shop at the City Market in Indianapolis, IN. Years later, after obtaining a culinary degree from The Chef’s Academy, his love for food and serving his community only continued to grow with his forays into commercial kitchens across America. Having worked 60 hour weeks for the last few years satisfying the needs of guests in his restaurants, he wanted to satiate his own need to create and distribute a delicious candy. Wielded with a recipe gifted to him from a friend’s German grandmother, the possibilities were endless! With the work ethic instilled in him through managing restaurants and with his passion for a good candy, he was able to sell out batches to his fans! Without them, Yussef’s Yummies would just be an idea and not a reality. Yussef currently resides in Austin, TX and is committed to bringing these yummies to every household in America!
